Has anyone been on Seasonale or Quasense?!
Question: So I've been on Yasmin for a year and other than having small light periods that was the only benefit. I still had really bad cramps, mood swings, and they would even come a week early sometimes. But I was wondering if anyone had any experience (positive or negative) with Seasonale or Quasense (the generic)? My doctor just wrote a prescription for it and I know that I'll have a period every three months. Thanks!

I had the same problem with Yaz. I was a crazy chick before and during my period. I switched to Seasonale. I still had some PMS symptoms, but not that bad. Plus you only get that way 4 times a year. Totally worth it. One of the best things I ever decided to do.

I have been taking Seasonale for like 2 years, and I haven't had any problems, The periods are pretty light and don't last very long. In the beginning I did get my period a few days early, but now no problem. I have been on the Generic since it came out, and no problem at all. They do however take up a lot of room in the purse.
If you smoke, you do not want to take it, it can lead to blood clots and other medical conditions. I know someone who developed a blood clot while taking these pills and smoking cigarettes on a regular basis.

I took Seasonale and basically had my period the entire time I was on it. It wasn't very heavy but I spot bled every single day. It's rough on you at first but I've heard if you stick through it you're body will get used to it.
you can take any birth control pill in a seasonale method.
your doctor just has to prescribe the med to be taken continuously.
I've always done that no matter the brand of bc pills
