Why do I only weigh 100 lbs?!

Question: I'm 15, 5' 6", and weigh only 100 lbs.
However, I'm not THAT skinny.
I mean, I have somewhat thin arms and legs, but my tummy is really flabby and I have some hips. I just don't get why I'm so far underweight for my BMI or whatever but I'm not anorexic-looking.

You ARE that skinny. Your stomach is a sign that you are malnourished. You need to eat more.

i am 14, and i dont even weigh 100 pounds yet.. but im not 5'00 ft tall either so i advise you to eat! you may think ur fat or something! dont get brain washed!

sometimes if your malnutritioned, it can cause your stomach to look big. like the kids in africa. they have big bellies cause they dont eat ever. talk to your doctor

Do some weight training, so at least when you do put on weight the muscle will weigh 3 tomes more than any fat you may have.

that just means you need to gain a little more muscle.
when someone is usually like that hieght and good looking body and not underweight. they usually work out often

run a little more,
more push ups,
eat leaner,
and also eat greens to balance it out.

good luck!

You might just have a fast metabolism on your body transfers fats to strange areas where they break down. If you'd like this to stop, you might try eating more fiberful foods, like oatmeal.

**** seriously? in 5'6 and i weight 135 and my doctor said i could gain some. hell hips are hott but if u eat like ur suppose to ur just ment to be like that cuz if uve already grown to b 5'6 uve done most of ur growing but try worken out and get toned make muscles on the thin thin lol just tha way ur made but 100 is actually to small. just eat healthy excersice and wear jeans that flatter those hips
