Question about "douching"?!

Question: Well, I know what it is, but why is it so unhealthy? Does it not just clean your lady parts..? Why do they have it if it's unhealthy?

There's lots of products on the market that are unhealthy. What about those pink packets that say 'may cause cancer' or the Christmas lights that say "wash hands after touching as they contain lead and that causes reproduction problems in humans'

Your 'lady parts' are self cleaning. The female body is very clever. We secrete fluids and have good bacteria in us that keeps things clean lubricated and smelling nice with barely any work on our end.

In fact, sex, antibiotics, douches and strong soaps will kill off our good bacteria and allow yeast bacteria(and other worse ones) to grow and cause unpleasant symptoms.

Most people find adding probiotics and even live active yogurt cultures help keep us in balance. (These products also are good for our entire digestive system) Look how many products you're seeing in stores with live cultures added!

Look for a pure unscented soap like Kiss My Face Pure olive oil soap.

i heard its cause your vaginal has a natural bacteria fighting system and when you douch it will destroy it and leave your vagina exposed without any bacteria-fighting things

Hi chelsea,
well its unhealthy to do daily because if you wash this much it will break down all the immunity within this area as it is so sensitive.as a result this will cause constant infections, which you would need anti biotics, and useing these often your body will become immune to these.it is a vicious circle.
