Can your first period go longer than the next times.?!
Question: Ok all of my friends had there first period for a week and then later it went down to like 4 or 5 days.I am on my first period now and it is my 4th day and everyone say it will probably be a week,so can your first one really be longer?

When you first begin to menstruate the lengths can vary, and be irregular for some time before they settle down to a rhythm. At one point I had 10 periods, now I have 4.

First couple of periods are irregular. Your body has to get used to it.
Everyone differs, most range from 4-8 days so dont worry if it goes over a week slightly.
yaa it could, mine lasted for a week but don`t worry about it, it`ll go down eventually ! =)

Yes - the first 2 or so years of your period are very irregular in cycle... some may be longer than others. Everyone is different - it is natural for your first period to be longer...
Yeah. Mine lasted for like 10 days, and now it's an average of 5. At least you aren't camping in a hot, dirty desert with your family!
