Can you still get pregnant from PLAN B pill?!

Question: I gave birth on the 15th of December 2007. I only breast fed for a week, was ok to have sex so my hubby and I did on the 10th of Jan 2008 and the condom broke, took morning after pill and got my first period 5days later. Was really heavy but went for as long as 5days. Im due for periood in a week and a bit and I was getting and increase of dischare, my boobs a veiny, slight cramping in tummy, feeling sick after i eat. Did get slight period pains last week but was only for a day and then again a few days later the same but then stopped. I did have alot of period pain with second child, never felt sick till 9week of pregnancy, never had sore boobs. Can I have still gotten pregnant and when should I test. This cant happen i mean i wore a condom but broke and took plan b pill.

The plan B pill's instructions tell you that if you wait longer to take the pill (because you have 72 hours) it increases your chance of getting pregnant. If you took it pretty close to "right away" then you stand a better chance of not getting pregnant. Of course there is always a chance of getting pregnant when you are having sex...damn health class. Anyway, I think you'll be fine. That plan B is just like a really strong birth control so relax. If after taking plan B you still get pregnant you should accept the fact that it was practically a miracle.

People don't get pregnant from pills.

my guess is your bodies hormones are still kinda screwy from the birth...i think its a very slim chance of being pregant...

Nah. I highly doubt you are pregnant. But take a test in case.

It is always possible to get pregnant, even when you take a morning after pill. Chances are you are not, but they are not 100% effective- as with all contraceptive techniques.

Yes, it is possible to still get pregnant even if you took plan B, just like it is still possible to get pregnant if you take birth control. It is just not very likely.
