Is it possible for breast implants to NEVER drop correctly?!

Question: I had my surgery 4 weeks ago and they are still somewhat high (especially the left side) and I know that I'm being impatient, but is it possible for them to just never completely settle into place? I'm just not seeing WHERE they're supposed to go.

They're really soft (not an ounce of hardness) and I know I'm doing okay other than some issues with the dissolvable stitches (which never dissolved) but I'm just getting freaked out that they may never drop.

Four weeks seems so long to me! Am I being paranoid? I tend to have more anxiety than the average person.

Relax! I have implants too and 4 weeks is nothing, it takes months. My doctor told me it would take a full year to drop and look natural but for me it happened in 8 months. I have photos I took 2 weeks post surgery and now I go "Ohmygod they looked so high and round back then compared to now!!" I love the way they look now, they look natural :)

Your doctor should have you doing post surgery massages in a certain way to help them drop. Basically you put 2 fingers just above the nipple, push down hard and pull back at the same time. It's a bit uncomfortable at first. They told me that would also give me an idea of how they'd look when they were fully dropped and they were right. So yes, you're being paranoid :) Trust me, you'll like the way they look more & more as weeks & months go by because they get so much more natural looking.
