Most people who manipulate their period with the pill do it so they won't be on their period during a special event like their honeymoon or vacation. Don't do this on a regular basis or you won't be protected. During the 1st month you need another method of protection along with your pill.
Say if your honeymoon is the 1st week of June. You figure out on the calendar (counting days and weeks) when to start taking your 1st pill. Most pills are on a 28 day cycle, that's 4 weeks. So just start counting.
So if you are already on them, when you finish this month. Wait to take the 1st one for next month on the day you figured out. But remember, You'll need extra protection next month.
Or if you already are taking them this month, you can skip a middle week so you only have a 21 day cycle this time.

It isn't really recommended by doctors but you can just skip over the placebo ones if you don't want a period. I did this for a few months and then my doc found out and said he didn't feel comfortable knowing I was doing that because a woman should really have a period every month BUT he did say that in occasion it won't hurt. Hope that helps, by no means am I recommending it though because it makes you really irregular and doesn't always work for everyone.
are you trying to not have your cycle?
if you are then I would ask your ob and just skip your white pills The one that you are supposed to take for your period to come and go to the start of the next month, but most docs say not to do that your ob would be the best person to answer that question
you cant, get a different pill, the only thing you can choose is what week you get your period but if you change it too frequently you will probably just bleed or spot when you are on the active pills anyway
Try the Depo shot it lasted for 12 months for me ( no period at all Yeeha!!!)
