Question: on my vagina i think i have an infection it hurts really bad. its round and has a white coat over it..plzz help..any ideas..im too embarassd to tell my mom and i really dont want to go to the doctor...plzz help..

questions questions. Have you been on antibiotics lately? Is there discharge? Is it a funny color or smell? Does it itch or burn? If there is a discharge and it is white, cottage cheese texture and smells yeasty then yeast infection it is. If you've been on antibiotics lately then yeast is the culprit. If it is a greenish, yellowish, brownish discharge then I would begin to think bacterial vaginosis or an STD. Now an STD would be worst case scenario, yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis are both easy to treat and common, but the best diagnosis would come from a doctor. If there is no odor or discharge then does it burn when you pee then it could be UTI, either way I make two recommendations to you sweety, drink lots of water and eat lots of yogurt, yogurt helps you maintain good urogenital floura, it tastes good and is good for you anyways. If you dont want to tell your mom go the local health department and tell them you want to get tested for everything. Once they insert the speculum if its a yeast infection they'll be able to tell right away, and give you the correct medication, in some cases its as simple as a pill you take once and thats it, but it that uncomfortable outside your vagina then a combination inside/outside cream might be best, and make things more comfortable sooner.

Thats serious, if it gets any worse you could get cervical cancer or a std and not be able to have childeren i'd recomend telling any adult you trust maybe not your mom first but a school nurse or consulor and they can tell your mom for you but you need a doctor!
tell your mom, go to the doctor, its the only way to get rid of it
If it is like a pimple and on the part of your vagina that you have hair it may be an ingrown hair. Tell your mother that you think you may have one there and you want to go to the doctor. either that or take a warm compress and hold it there for a while.
Are u sure that is not a yeast infection because its usually white clean it really good and put vaselin but do go 2 the doctor.
