How old should i be to wear tampons??!
Question: im almost 13 and i'm in my 3rd or 4th period now and the pads are really bothering me. how old should i be to wear tampons?? can't tampons get stuck and you can get TSS?

It's totally OK for you to wear tampons, and they won't get stuck! Just get ones that are made for teens like Tampax Pearl, and use the regulars or lights. You can use tampons at any age you want to.
its unlikely the tampon will get stuck. it has a little string so its easy to pull out. you can use a tampon whenever you are ready. some of my friends never used pads, they just have always used tampons. i didn't use tampons until i was 18. its just a personal choice. tampons are a lot more comfortable tho!!
just don't leave them in for more than 8 hours or else you could get TSS, but if you use them correctly its rare so no worries.
I'm 16 and I've never used a tampon. Sad, I know. But it's choice that only you can make. If you feel that you would be more comfortable with a tampon then go for it.
I preferred pads to avoid leaks with tampons, I always had with them, I had heavy flows. I think that makes a difference and what your mom says.;;;;
i used tampons the first time i got my period cuz we had a feild trip to a water park

they also say to not use one that is too big for your flow, youll figure that out as you go. how are you supposed to know how many grams of blood you have flowing!? dont be scared, there is nowhere up there that it can get lost. if you sccidently put two in (ive had friends who have done this lol) they will come out. if it feels stuck it could be that it hasnt soaked up enough and is kinda dry. youll figure it out.
Tampons don't get stuck. TSS occurs when a tampon has been left in too long, and is super rare; so don't stress over that.
i'm seventeen,and bout 3 yrs ago i kinda got sick of pads....so i just started using tampons....it really dnt matter how old u r ,u just need 2 kno how 2 put them in....and no they do not get stuck......only in a horror film.......j/k.......lol !?!?!?!
i was 12 wen i started my periods and used tampons from the start. don't be worried, mine was a bit weird using it for the first time but over time they will be easier to insert and in the day they wil be more comfortable. plus they are better for sport
I started using tampons when I was 12,tampons can get stuck but not often, and if you change them regularly you will not get tss. there are different sizes you would need slims or similar
