Question: ok my mom is thinking of taking me to the dr. cus i have not stared my period yet but im only 13 and i told her that sum girls dont start "it" until they r like 16.im worried cus im already in a 38 c ( cup size) but on sum bras im a 36 b.i have "hair" but im scared that something is wrong with me.can you pleaz help me thanks .

I had the same thing: the hair, the breast and no period until I was about 14... a week before my birthday actually. Don't worry. I had a friend that started at 16.. there's nothing wrong with it. You start "developing" earlier than when you get your period most of the time. It's normal. You may still want to see the gynocologist for a check-up anyway.

honey, nothings wrong! Your right and your mom is wrong. A lot of girls haven't started theirs yet. If you go to the doctors they will say something like this:
"Every girl is different."
Thats all they will be able to say. Go when your 17 if you still haven't gotten it.

nothings wrong...its takes some girls a while to get there period but if you have hair thats means you should be getting it soon

My daughter is just beginning puberty & I read once the underarm hair cam the period was around the corner. So it goes, breasts, pubic hair, underarm hair, period.
Your mom may have started before she was 13 but what about your dads mom? Your dads sister? You don't ONLY have your moms genes you know...... ;)
I was 12 when I got my period. My best friend, however, was 15 when she got hers. I wouldn't worry if I were you. Girls get it at different ages. Just becaues other parts of you have developed doesn't mean the rest of you is caught up yet. Enjoy it while it lasts =]
Some people don't get "it" until they're 19! So, don't worry... wait a little longer. But if you mom insists on going to the doctor, go and see what's wrong!

you are totally fine!! i was nervous too, cuz i didnt get mine. well i'm 13 too and just got "it" week before valentines day. your going to be fine, some girls like us are just late bloomers. once you start getting discharge you'll get your peroid about a year later, nothing to frett about. as long as your healthy, exercise, and eat well you got nothing to worry about!!

Do you play any kind of sports such as gymnastics baseball basketball anything where you are very active. Doing these activities hold off your period for a while. I did gymnastics for the longest time and never got my period then i had it for two months because i stopped gymnastics for a while. then i started gymnastics ad i didnt get my period again for months.
Nah, you're mom's just wanting to be sure. You'll be fine. I mean, I think she's wondering because everything's happening except the period part. Plenty of girls don't get it until they're like, 15. My cousin was 8, be glad you didn't start then.
Think of it as a few less periods you'll have to endure in your lifetime.
