it is possible. when you first start, you may not be ovulating yet. and later on, if you are on the pill, you still get a period, but the pill prevents ovulation. also, I believe you are wrong about the timing of ovulation. the period is to clean out the womb, then we build up hormones, ovulate and if the egg is not fertilized then we bleed the built up walls in the uterus again. Ovulation is 10 to 14 days after the start of a period.

Yes it is

Yes, that is what birth control pills make your body do. It tricks the body to think it is pregnant so that it doesnt release the egg but you still have a period. YOur uterus still has to release the lining as it does every month. Your best bet would be to google somthing like that. YOu would get better answers

absolutely.
you can have periods but not ovulate in between them.
happens to women with PCOS. have periods but no ovulation.

Yes you can.

Yes...it can happen. I have periods but don't ovulate. I have PCOS which prevents my ovaries from releasing mature eggs. The body will automatically slough off the uterine lining. granted periods with out ovulation are very different from a regular period. My periods before I started treatment were very long, more than 14 days long, and heavy. I would only get them a few times a year.

EGGS - what are you? some kind of bird
