Answers: i havent started my perid but my mum gave me money and said i wont you to buy them ready and im to shy and embarresed what should i do

I'm a guy and buy pads for both my wife and daughter and it doesn't bother me

Just do it. There is NOTHING to be embarrassed about.

All women get periods. No one cares about the pads you are buying. We all have to do it. Just make sure the cashier is a woman if it really bothers you. But if you do have to go to a male cashier I'm sure he would be more embarrassed or feel awkward about it than you.

jeez,,,, tell your mom that its your first period and you'd like her to go with you. that's what mother should do.

if she still doesn't. grab them and march straight up to the cash register(to a girl if your embarrassed)and have confidence like you've done it a million times!!!! she goes through the same thing so she won't say anything!!!:-)

You really shouldn't be embarrassed. Every cashier at every store rings up pads every day. I don't think they even notice anymore.

It might be a little more comfortable for you to go to a smaller pharmacy, rather than a big store like Wal-Mart or Target. Look for a lane with a female cashier, or just pay for them at the pharmacy counter. Pharmacists and pharmacy techs have filled stuff that's WAY more embarrassing than pads!

Don't be embarassed. It is not that bad. If you are getting other things when you are in the store, then get a cart. That way you can put other things in with it and no one notices the pads. I am 25 and I still hate buy them, but getting other things with them makes it a whole lot easier.

Just go to a girl or woman cashier then you shouldn't feel embarrassed. I can understand feeling shy checking out with a guy cashier, but a female totally understands!

If you can go to a store that you have never been to and don't plan on going back to and put on a scarf and some big sun glasses. You will never see the people again and if you do they won't reconize you. But don't be embarresed all girls have to do it.

You'll quickly get used to buying things like this. When you go to buy them buy them at a big drugstore, along with other things you need, like hair things, makeup, food, and other simple stuff. You'll feel less self-conscious about buying them if they're among normal things. And a good thing to do would be to go to a female clerk to check you out, because they can sympathize. This is something all women go through, hon, don't worry about it. Plus, anyone who works at a store that sells pads probably sees them all the time; I guarantee you they won't say a thing. =)

You shouldnt be embarrassed because its natural. Thats why they sell them lol! I can relate to how you felt though because I used to be the same way and then I realized how silly it was for me to be embarrassed because its a normal thing. Now if it were condoms thats something that I can see being embarrassing but if youre still to shy then have someone else buy them for you.

Your mom's smart...you'll be buying them (most likely) for the next 30 or 35 years, so you need to get over the embarrasment. Don't sweat it...just wait until you have a child and you have every doctor and nurse in the hospital looking at your crotch, lol.

Just think about it this way--all women (most of them, anyway) have to buy pads and tampons every month. You're not the first, and you certainly won't be the last. :)

just look at the candy or whatevers near and when they ask for money give it to them and leaveeeeeeeeeee

You could ask her to buy them the first couple of times.
You shouldnt be embarassed. Its a part of life...

I know how you feel. Many years ago, I went thru the same thing. I went to many stores and it seemed like they all had a man in them.

I went home in disgust. My father noticed and asked what the problem was and I told him I couldn't talk about it and he said
"If it is something you want to do and you wouldn't be ashamed no matter who saw you then you should be all right. Then he said if it's something you want to buy and you did not steal the money and they sell it legally you shouldn't be embarrassed to buy it".

I took a nap and when I woke up, my mother told me my father had left a package for me on the table, I never figured out how he knew, but from then on I could buy them and not even be the least bit ashamed.

Is it Your money do they sell it legally in the store, Then go for it.

You will never be ashamed again!!

just relax!!
dont look both ways, casually glance at the packages, check again to make sure no one's looking, then grab a pack real quick and run...i guarantee that will grab attention!!
just make sure you like the brand, then go up to a GIRL CASHEIR. trust me, buying pads with a guy cahsier is embarrasing!!
