Depo Birth Control Shot Questions.?!
Question: i've been on the depo birth control shot for almost a year now. everyone acted like i'd gain 50lbs and i was worried b/c i am very controlling about my weight condsidering i've had eating disorders and everything. well after being on it this long, i've expierenced no weight gain whatsoever. i am wondering multiple things about this though. do you think i'll gain weight later?. i sure hope not. also it says your period should stop right? well mine is slowy stopping but i still have one like for 4weeks until i get the shot again which is every 3 months. it's not as bad as the first time i got the shot so it's going away. but should i be worried?.. help please.
also i am almost 16.

when i got the depo shot, i didn't get a period, at all. but i did gain 20 lbs in only 6 months. i also had a lot of cramps. i would get bloated and had a headache all the time. if you haven't gain any weight you probably wont.
