Your preiod can begin any month of the year typically between ages 11-16 but younger or older is okay as well. If you have a regular cycle it should come every 28days and last 5-7days but not everyone is typical. I get mine every 45 days and some women have no pattern at all. Just be prepared with pads or tampons and ask your doctor for more information at your next check-up.

Where are you getting your information from? Your first period can come on any month of the year. I was born in August but I got my first period in February. Then, after your periods become regular, you get them EVERY month. Also, periods don't necessarily come on the same day of your birth either-like the number. For example if you were born on the 1st, your periods may start on the 10th of every month. Hope this helps!
