Tampon trouble!?!

Question: Hi there! Thanks for opening.

I got my 2nd tampon in! With no pain or anything and was very proud of myself. But when sat criss cross apple sauce (lol) and bent forward to get my computer and I could feel it. It was a weird feeling, but I don't know if this is normal. Should I feel it? I know its in far enough because I pushed the applicator passed the finger grib, so its in far enough. What's wrong?

And I am using Tampax pearl light with a plastic applicator.

Which ones better to get Tampax pearl or sport?

Congrats! You should be proud of yourself it's not an easy trick to do. It's normal to sometimes feel it when you move in a certain angle. If it bothers you take it out and try another but if it's not causing you any pain just wait until you need to insert another one. Nothing's wrong, it's just that tampons don't feel all that great, sometimes you notice them. You should try the brands yourself to decide which work best for you.

Good luck

Take it out, and try again. Tampons need practise but don't worry you will get the hang of things x
I haven't had a period in a year because i take things to stop them but the best tampons i can suggest are lilets, they aren't anything special but, they expand in the right ways, and are comfortable, im not sure if they do aplicator ones but have a look. They are the best ones at plugging and absorbing (that i have found)

Well they're both good products. Gentle glide, right? It's normal if you feel it, don't worry about it. I'd rather be feeling it than forgetting it was there, because then I'd leave it in at night and cause an infection. It's called toxic shock; you can die from it if you don't go to the doctors ASAP.

If it hurts, like it's scratching your insides, go fix it. Because that could ALSO leave an infection.

If you feel it like that, it's not in far enough. Take it out and try another one.

You know, I find the easiest ones to insert are the Kotex brand...the applicator is just smoother and more comfortable.

Erm....well.... the best thing to do is take it out, start again with a clean one!!

Umm... you should take it out and put another one in. It takes a while to learn how to use a tampon. If you keep having troubles with tampons go see a gynocologist. They can always screen you and make sure everything is okay down there. But thats after you take all the measures you can take. A lot of teenagers haven't had sex and haven't been streched out for that tampon to fit in.

Hun, you are fine. if this is the first time you have felt it you are doing good. if it was a really uncomfortable sharp pain you just take it out and put a new one in. you most likely sat on in weird.
personally i like Tampax sport it works better if you are more active and like sitting in funky ways (like cris cross apple sauce.) hope that helps!

P.S Make sure you are changing them every 4 to 6 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You don't want toxic shock syndrome! Trust me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

take it out and try it again. It's just a minor set back.

I can never get tampons in without pain and pain through out the whole day. I'd say take it out and try replacing it again, if it still doesn't work out it might be the way your sitting.
I can only stand when only wearing a tampon.
Good luck.
