Does the birth control pill Yaz have any reactions to sunlight?!
Question: My hair stylist said that she goes tanning and when she was taking the pill she got sun spots on her face. I just wanted to see if this is correct before I start taking it.

It shouldn't have anything to do with her birth control. She just probably had a reaction to the tanning bed (your skin can have all kinds of reactions when you artificially tan, or naturally tan for that matter). I have never taken Yaz, but in the 7 years I was on birth control I never had a problem with my pills/patches reacting to the sun. If you're worried talk to your doctor, otherwise just take the pills.
