Odd Cycle?!

Question: I was due for my period on March 2nd. On March 3rd I started to spot brownish pinkish blood, very light, and at points it would become deep red, but still on the light side. This lasted for about 3 days. Since yesterday, I've been spotting again from brownish to deep red, light ofcourse. Its only been 17 - 18 days since my last "period" if you can call it that. What would cause this to happen? I have an appt with my Gyno April 1st but would like some ideas now.

Are you sexually active? If so, it's possible that you could be pregnant. Do you have any other symptoms? Look on like at "pregnancy symptoms" to see if you may have some of the symptoms. If so, take a home pregnancy test or have your Gyno check for that. If you are not sexually active, your body could just be changing right now. Changing hormones can affect your period a lot. I'm glad you are going to the Gyno though - she will be able to help you out a lot.

How old are you? If you're young, that's normal.

iv skipped mine by a month before. its nothing major, i think everyone has those times when it just doesnt come, so i wouldnt worry too much about it. but if it doesnt come in another month id ask a doctor or someone close to you.

well.. ur prob. not preg.. unless you had sex.. then its a possibility

if youve:
become more active
gained weight
lost weight

thats what it is.. it just changes ur body around!

i know this sounds weird but it happened to my sister and it was because she was b12 defficent.
