Every girl matures at their own rate and some are youner then others. If you have had regular periods and they have suddenly stopped then I would say you should talk with a doctor...
If you have not started your periods yet you may not be ready.
My periods stopped for several years when I was a teenager, but it was because I was athletic and worked out too long and hard for a kid the age I was. When I stopped swimming for 6 hours everyday--my periods came back.

Type 1 secondary issues are the number one complications a person with type 1 has to live with. Usually it is not the Diabetes that hurts a person as much as the secondary issues do. Most of those complications can be avioded or managed if you are in ture with your body and manage the Type 1 they way you need too... All the daily testing and record keeping....all the advice about diet and lifestyle and keeping in good touch with your doctors....
