Still pregnant even though...??!
Question: Still pregnant even though I got a negative blood test? Dont say that blood tests are 100% accurate because that's just simply not true. I had a negative blood test 3 times with my duaghter before I finally got a positive test. This was 3 weeks after my period was due. Ive taken many HPT's and they're all negative so far. However, Im a week late and I have many symptoms of being pregnant such as headaches, cramps (never get cramps), missed period, nausea/vomiting, frequent urination, breast tenderness. Do you think that Im having the same problem this time with having low HCG levels and that I may indeed be pregnant again?? I hate having to wait for so long. Also, I am NEVER late and Im VERY regular. The only time I was ever late was when i was pregnant with my daughter.

Have you been sick recently? Sometimes when I'm sick, it throws my cycle off and I'm one of those people who knows when I'll get my period like to the very hour.
You could be pregnant, too. My friend Alyssa got pregnant in January. She missed her period, but didn't think anything of it b/c she was on the pill. It was 2 weeks late, so she did a HPT & it was negative. Over the next 3 weeks, she took 4 more tests and they were all negative. Finally she went to her general practitioner b/c she thought she was just sick or something (I mean, afterall, we'e told HPT's are "over" 99.9% effective, right?) They drew blood & told her she was 6-9 weeks pregnant.
It's always possible. I know it's very frustrating when you just want to know what's going on & the tests don't match the facts.

Well stress can unfortunately cause a lot of the symptoms you describe as well. I think the best thing you can do is try to relax and not think about it. Don't do anything that would be harmful if you were pregnant. Make an appointment for next Friday to see the doctor and have a blood test taken if your period still has not shown up.
I think you might b having a hysterical pregnancy. That's what it sounds like. It's vary rare that you would be pregnant with a negative blood test twice. Even though the blood test is not 100% accurate. It is the most accurate pregnancy test out there.
