When 'should' I get my periods after stopping the pill?!
Question: I stopped after taking 8 pills of a pack because I couldn't deal with the extreme mood swings. If I hadn't stopped taking it when I did, my period would have come next week.
My period after stopping the half pack was last week.
So when 'should' my period come.
I say it with ' ' because I was on pill for 6 week long periods (actual bleeding) and the doctor told me to stop the pill to get my moods back on track before trying a new one for 3 months.
I'd just like to know vaguely what to expect..

There really is no set time. When I've come off the pill, it's often been only 2 weeks before my next period.
The "periods" that occur when you are on the pill are not actually menstrual periods, they are actually a withdrawal symptom: a "fake" period. So it makes sense that you bled last week - it was a withdrawal bleed!
