HELP! Abnormal Bleeding. TMI?!

Question: Kind of TMI...

On Thursday (27th) morning I started spotting lightly and just thought my period hadn't quite ended. I had my period from the 18th-24th.

Then late Thursday night into Friday morning I had a huge blood clot, like the size of two quarters, and tons of blood and tissue come out.

I took a pregnancy test, thinking I had a miscarriage and didn't know I was pregnant. It was negative so I didn't go to the doctor. Then all day Friday I was only spotting lightly.

Now I am at work and I just had a really huge random gush of blood with smaller clots and tissue. I'm sorry if this is too graphic for some. But now I'm worried because I don't know what it could be. I have irregular periods, but they are always fairly light. This isn't my period at all, but some abnormal bleeding that I'm very concerned about.

I know that you guys aren't doctors, and that I need to see one very soon, but has anyone experienced anything like this before?

Any time you have abnormal vaginal bleeding I think it is wise to go to a doctor as soon as possible. This happened to me a few months ago, it turned out ok, but even the doctor couldnt work out what it was, it was a 50/50 between a misscarriage or just my period coming early. Pregnancy tests and blood tests failed to show evidence of which it was. But it was still good to go to the doctor and get some advice.

i have.
and its terrible, you do need a doctor today.
it could come to, bleeding to death.
:(

It happened to my aunt. It was a misscarraige. Yeah go to one IMMEDIATELY! Just to make sure it's not something life-threatening
