Gardasil shot? help?!?!

Question: i am very ill right now. i have a fever and i'm nauseated and feeling like i'm going to throw up. i haven't got much sleep lately, but after i got my last shot today i napped for like 4 hours.. but that's only because i didn't sleep at all the night before. now i got my shot, i felt fine. kind of blah from not sleeping, but nothing like i do now. i seriously feel like i'm going to die. do you think this is from the gardasil shot or do i have a stomach virus or what?

Different people respond to the shots differently, whenever my sister got the shot she laughed instead of wincing, and she didn't have any pains or anything after the shot. I had a sore arm for about 4-6 days after though. I think I read somewhere that fever and vomiting were some occurances, as were swelling and pain at the injection site. It may be a side effect of the shot, but it also may be an infection or virus. Just to be safe, I suggest seeing a doctor.

Why are you online asking? CALL YOUR DOCTOR.

It could be either, but the shot does have a potential for those side effects. I luckily only got dizzy and sleepy. Call you doc and ask them what they think!

call your dr and ask if that is the side effects form the shot.

Thats probably your bodys reaction to the shot, I'd say since its a sat, try to control your fever with a cold pill..like tylenol cold or nyquil, it will let you sleep. And make an appt on monday to see if something more is wrong. I'm sure its not a big deal. Hope you feel better.

its better to be safe then sorry it might be a side effect but then it might not tell your parents AND CALL YOUR DOCTOR

when i got my gardasil shot i had almost the same things, i called the doctor and she said it was normal but not for long periods of time, if it lasts longer than 3 days call your doctor.
