Birth control or no?!
Question: i want to go on birth control because me and my bf are starting to be sexually active, he wears a condom but i just want to make sure. however i do not want my parents knowing this is the reason i will go on it. do they have to know? can i just purchase it? also if i cannot, what can i say my reason for it is?

If you go to planned parenthood, you can get it confidentially
I believe that you can go to Planned Parenthood regardless of your age. It may vary from state to state. Give them a call.
well you could say that ur period is getting heavier an it would be easier or you could say the cramps are really bad
Talk to your doctor about it, depending on where you are from is to how things work, but in the UK, you just go to your doc and he will prescribe a type to suit you, you don't pay for it as it is contraception, your parents don't have to know about it, what you say to your doctor is confidential, depending on your age of course!

Go to your doctor and talk to him or her about it. Only then will you know what is right for you.....Also, if you lie about symptoms ( as someone suggested) you may be put on the wrong medication that might make you sick.
you have two options. 1 you can sit ur mom and explain to her that u and boyfriend are taking your relationship[ to another level and you would like for her help to avoid an unplanned pregnancy I'll be surprised at the reaction u'll get it might not be as bad as u think it will be. think of it she would rather have u prevent it and inform her then to just end up pregnant. or 2 u can visit one of the pregnancy prevention centers where can provide you with the pills but in my opnion option 1 is better because if u go with two what will happen if ur mom finds them one day or she finds out it will be worst. and another thing u should consider is if u ae gona have a talk with ur mom make sure ur boyfriend is worth it and that u really love him before u involve ur mother in..

well, When i was 17 i thought about getting birth control.I tried having my sisters get it for me, but that didn't work my sister talked to me and asked me to talk to my parents. I thought they would freak out and say no with out hearing me out, but you have to remember your parents were young once to, and if you open up and are honest with them they might see you as being mutra enough for it because you came to them first.and talked to them like an adult would.Please think about going to them before doing anything else.
