Small colorless bump near my vagina?!
Question: So yesterday, I felt a little sore near my vagina but I figured it had something to do with my tampon, like it wasn't in all the way. Anyway, later when I was taking a shower, I realized it was actually a pea sized bump. I've looked at it in the mirror, and it's not noticeable. All it is, is a bump that is kinda hard when I touch it but not especially painful. I have a doctor's appointment for next week, but I was wondering if it was possible for it to be an ingrown hair or something. I was hoping for some pitched ideas, but I'm also suspecting that it might be an STD. I'm not engaging in actual intercourse, but I am in a relationship where oral sex is involved, and it's been some time since my partner has gotten an STD check up (before I met him). I really hope not because I might just have to smack him.

We girls get random bumps down there sometimes, probably nothing big. It may just be a deep blemish (a bump deep below your skin, doesn't look like a regular zit) that goes away on its own, or may need a gentle squeeze. I wouldn't worry about it, especially if you're already planning on seeing the doc next week. But an STD test would be a good plan anyway.
