Alot of blood???!

Question: Okay so my sister is 13 and for the past few months she's been noticing blood "down there". Obviously she's old enough to know what her period is and she says its coming out of her 'rear end' once every 2-2.5 weeks when she goes to the bathroom (#2 only though!)

She has no idea what it is and shes kind of scared to tell my mom about it.

its an anal skin tab. yes i know its a funny word, and it sounds really scary, but it can be easily taken care of.

its not serious, i had them, and i took medicine and they went away.

but your sister DOES need to see a gastronolgoist, cause it will get worse. get your sister down to the doctors office asap.

tell your mom. now.

btw, i got my only anal skin tab when i was around 11. it never came back either. and it was the EXACT same symptoms as what ur sister is having.

You sometimes get that when you rub your bottom too hard when you whipe it with toilet paper. i sometimes get it. it's normal.

tell someone cuz it could escalate into a bigger problem

just tell your mom, yourself and tell her. 13, and she doesn't know what her period is?!?!??!

Could be any number of things. Please check out this web resource.
Good Luck

It could be many things... some are harmless and will go away on their own, but at the risk of having something more serious, you need to tell your mom. This is something that needs to be checked out by a doctor!
