All girls have a skin across their Fanny's called a hymen, do not attempt to break this? The joke about girls who ride horses is that hymens are broken due to riding? if you are not relaxed in what you are doing then try next week xxx

1. use the instructions in the box
2. no it doesnt hurt
3. it wont get stuck
4. if you're doing it the wrong way, it wont go in. and if it does, you will feel discomfort. just take it out and try again with a new one.
5. the chances of that happening are rare.

i think if you have never used them before it could be an idea to get a tampon with an applicator, just a little easier to insert.. don't worry about not knowing how to pop them in, there are pictured diagrams to show you how, with all boxes of tampons.. they shouldn't get stuck.. i have used them for nearly 10 years and never had a problem i couldn't get out of.. it doesn't hurt, and shouldn't hurt so if you have any discomfort, you have either not stuck it in right and so you should take it out and try another one, or they just aren't for you.. try the light flow tampons to start with, ideal for your body at this time.. and very unlikely you should get TSS.. it is very very rare that someone should actually get it.. anyway, good luck and welcome to the monthly torment of womanhood..

Try tampax pearl lites, they are very slender and have a plastic applicator and are great!

1. read the pamphlet that came with the pack.
2. no it doesn't hurt, but will take some time to insert. my first tampon took like an hour to get in.
3. No
4. It won't "feel right"
5. You won't if you read the pamphlet, don't keep it in longer than 6 hours. And don't insert it when you aren't on your period.

1. How do I insert it? There are written instructions and pictures in the box with them.
2. Does it hurt? If you push the wrong way too hard it may so be gentle.
3. Could it get stuck? No they cant get stuck.
4. What if I do it the wrong way? If you don't put it in the right way you will know as it will feel uncomfortable, take it out and try a new one.
5. What if I get Toxic shock syndrome? Its very rare. Make sure you use a new one before bed if you use one over night and always wash your hands before inserting them.

1... dont use those they are harder to get in...use the sports kind from tampax pearl
2. all you have to do it just relax....sit or stand with your legs spread... and gently push it in your vagina.
3. it might be uncomfortable the first time so it might take a few tries... but IT DOESNT HURT!
4. it cant get stuck it has a string you can pull out.. so dont even worry about that
5. there really is no wrong way to do them... just read the instructions and you will be fine just RELAX if your all tense and stressed the chances of it hurting is more....
6. i've been wearing tampons a LONG time and left them in a lot longer than i was supposed to and i never had the TSS... nor has anyone i have ever known that uses tampons... and if your worried about that... just dont leave them in as long! :)
good luck girl....
p.s they are A LOT better than pads!!!!!

First you must breath.
Your first time using a tampon is difficult but you can handle it. If you are not sure how to insert it i advise you read the instructions on the box or you could even ask your mom or female family member who has gone through this.
I honestly dont think it hurts but it can be a bit uncomfortable. If you are really having doubt and you think it will get stuck or something will happen to you, you should again go to a female family member, research it or talk to a doctor.

get on your yahoo messenger and ill explain it to you. but i dont feel like explaining it all if you already have what you wanted to know and dont need another explain

I suggest you use the kind with the applicator. Just simply push it in your vagina and insert it in as if you are giving a shot
It only hurts when you do it wrong or when you are super tight (this is only the first few times)
It can not get stuck. Sometimes, the string gets stuck in your vagina but you can find it easily.
If you do it the wrong way 1) it wont go in and 2)it will hurt
TSS is so rare but you can get it if you use the tampon for more than 12 hours without changing and if you are usuing a heavy absorbant large tampon when you only need regular. Plus, it is more common in women over 21

if your not sure and confused dont worry . the only thing you wont be able to do is swim there is enough variety of pads to suit you .if u are sure then read the leaflet inside the box and follow the diagram why should youre period stop you doing anything it certainly doesnt stop those who ware pads

have u tried the bodyform so slim liners. i never liked using towels because i always felt like i was wearing a nappy or suming. and maybe to start with if tampons are uncomfortable for you maybe these would be a better choice. i think they are widely available - i get mine from tesco. they are really slim and i really don't notice mine. and they are more absorbent then u'd think. or maybe they might just be suitable for u at night or suming but give 'em a go i was really impressed with them so much so i don't use the tampons nemore

There is a little instruction booklet inside the box which answers all common questions

Don't use tampon....it can cause severe infections..
