Periods?!?!?!?!?!?!

Question: Ok so I played soccer for a while but quit a few months ago. If i start playing a sport again will that delay my period?I haven't had my period yet. I have been having some signes of it though:hormonal changes, white resido(I learned that you get white cloudy mucus stuff when you are PMSing). What can i do to NOT ger it and are these signes i might get it soon?

The white cloudy mucous stuff is discharge which means you are getting it soon within a few months I would say. You can continue sports- it won't delay anything as far as i'm concerned about. if you're not too shy, ask your mom about it and she can help you out. =]] good luck,

Unless you get pregnant or become anorexic, you can't delay it.

Being athletic can delay periods.

IF you are less athletic that can trigger periods more.

You are always going to get your periods and discharge. Just put on a tampon.

NO get ever goes without her periods, I WISH>

There's nothing you can do to not get it. It will come exactly when it wants to no matter what you do. Some girls who are extremely active have periods that start later but I was a dancer, played baseball, basketball, volleyball, and wrestled (aka was super duper active) and I got mine at 11. Those are definitely signs you might get is soon. If you know when your mom and any older sisters got theirs you can guess you'll be around the same age!

You can't not get it unless you starve yourself or train so intensly so that your body fat level is far below normal. Please DO NOT do this!
It is natural and it will happen whether you like it or not. You will get used to it though, it's not that bad. It only lasts a few days a month.

You will probably get it soon, if you are skinnyer, and are more active, it will delay your period. Hope that helps.
