That has happened to me, whatever you do DON'T PUT CHEAP LOTION ON IT. it burns even more then.
wear your most comfortable pair of underwear.

Your first time shaving "down there"?
It's going to itch or hurt I would assume, now if you cut yourself, you should go see a doctor or something.
Aveeno skin lotion should do the job.

TWO WORDS:

baby powder

Use baby powder or corn starch. You can also use some diaper rash ointment.

What kind of underwear do you wear? Wearing cotton underwear for awhile might help a little bit because the cotton will allow the skin to breathe. I also see that a lot of people are telling you to use baby powder. This may sound weird, but when I shave down there I put deodorant on my private area after I'm done. I heard it keeps the skin soft just like lotion does, but it doesn't clog the pores as much. It does keep the skin pretty soft & I haven't had a problem with it yet. Everyone might have their own preference though.

use the best lotion and baby powder and 100% cotton underwaer.

use lotion or baby powder. wear softer underwear. or go to the doctor.

Baby powder (like everyone mentioned). Don't worry, after the first time you will get used to it and it won't hurt any longer...I hope.
