There are genetic and lifestyle factors. While you can't run away from genetics, by eating a healthy diet and keeping your weight down you can reduce your chances of breast cancer as well as other diseases.
Heredity is the biggest part you can't prevent it tho. Everyone has cancer like cells in them and certain medications can triger its growth and development which ultimately causes cancer.No one knows for sure why or how this happens but it does.
