Think of it this way, if you have sex with him, there are umpteen different ways you can regret it!. But if you don't you won't have any regrets at all!. Now, or later!.
For instance, say you refuse him, and he dumps you for an easier girl!. You'll be sad, until you figure out that he never really liked you anyway, he only valued one thing about you!.
Or, suppose you get pregnant, and have to deal with all those problems!.
Or suppose, you don't sleep with him, you eventually part ways, and in a year or a few, you meet the man who will be your husband!. He's amazing, he's wonderful, and he won't be the one you give your virginity to!. That, my dear, is one huge regret!.
I know it isn't fashionable to think that is important anymore!. It wasn't when I was your age, either!. But everybody is human, and you still end up meeting someone some day who makes you want to be a better woman!. It's overcomeable, it's not a deal breaker, but some small part of you will always be missing!.
