Do probiotics really help with yeast?!


Question: Do probiotics really help with yeast!?
I just started drinking unsweetened Kefir!.!.!.!.

Should I try this too!?

I happen to have three boxes (it was a mis-ship at work)
It sounds like an awful-awful lot of something to be taking!.

Doctor suggested a low carb diet for a few months!.!.!.!.

Yes, priobiotics can definitely help!. I started taking acidophilus of one form or another (although I will admit a preference for a brand called AccuFlora) about a year ago and I haven't had any problems with yeast infections since!.

Of course, it could also depend on why you're having the problem in the first place!. If you doctor suggested a low carb diet, I'm going to guess that the dr!. believes you have some difficulty with blood sugar control!. I'm a diabetic (and I also have a condition called polycystic ovarian syndrome, or PCOS), so I'm very familiar with this problem!.

If you have problems with blood sugar control, the better blood sugar control you maintain, the less problem you will have with the yeast!. Still, even healthy people can have occasional problems with yeast!. This was suggested to me by a specialist at the Greenbrier Clinic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
