Well u will lay down on a bed and the technician (person that controls the machine) will apply a jelly that is used to help the machine to slide easily , the jelly will feel cold but it is normal, then they will scan your abdomen or whatever part they will be looking at with the machine, It is not painful so dont worry, an ultrasound is used to see a specific body part on a monitor ultrasound is the same word for sonogram if u have any more concerns please let me know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
