Hysterosalpingogram?!
Question: Hysterosalpingogram!?
I haven't had a period since September!. My doctor mentioned my FSH level's were reversed!. I am trying to conceive and have been for a year now!. She prescribed me something to bring my period on!. I now have to get a hysterosalpingogram and I noticed it says to take pain medication one hour before and bring a driver!. Has anyone had this!? Is it painful!? I am nervous to get this done now!. I also have to get 2 ultrasounds, transvaginal pelvic and transabdom!. pelvic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have not had this test done but talked to others who have had it done!. It can be painful because of the fact that they are injecting a dye in to your uterus and up to the fallopian tubes!. Then they take an x-ray!. If there are blockages to the tubes the dye will not run thru them and may back up!.
