Answers:
I think you're safest to use the pill AND a condom!. I have two friends that got pregnant while they were on the pill, and one who got pregnant from a broken condom!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are not in a stable monogamous relationship condoms is the safest way to go!.!.!.!. because of risk of STDs!. Condoms are tried and true method, you can always run to the store and get them whenever you need to!. Also, condoms don't have any side effects whatsoever (unless you happen to be allergic to latex)!. You throw it away and forget about it!. But you always have to worry about putting it on!. That's the downside!.

Other than that - every woman is different!. What works best for you might not work for someone else at all!. It depends on things like
- do you have history of depression
- are you at high risk of heart desease
- are you disciplined eanough to take the pill every day at the same time
- do you smoke
- are you overweight
All that might make you a not a good candidate for a pill!.

There is also new type of IUD that my doctor told me about today!. Ask about it!. It used to be that women weren't recommended an IUD before givign birth, now it have changed with a new generation of IUDs!.

There is also a Depo Provera shot (and alike) that lasts 3 months!. But there are dowsides like irreversible bone loss!.

I'm not going to talk about abstinence or withdrawal method cause they are no methods at all IMHO!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i use the pill but i read in glamour in march that the shot is more effective but of course there's the chance of getting an std so condoms would be best for that!. I'm not a huge fan of the pill, i don't have to work as hard to keep my face looking decent but i can tell by my attitude if i have taken it or not!. I am more caring when i do take the pill and I always know when my period is going to come!. But then there is the chance of forgetting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is a personal decision only you can decide upon after talking to your doctor!.

1!. Some people can't take the pill, and others love it!. The main thing is to remember to take it every day at the same time!. There are many different types of BC pills now, and there are some you can take continuously for 3 months and not have a period!

2!. The advantage of condoms is preventing disease if used correctly!. However, they can break and lessen sensitivity!. A friend of mine has an 11 year old child because the condom broke!.

3!. The Depo-Provera shot is a good solution if you don't want to have to take a pill every day and possibly not have a period!. You get the shot once every 3 or 4 months, and 80% of women who get it don't have periods!. A friend of mine did the shot for years and loved it!.

4!. The diaphram is another possibility!. You have to keep it clean and make sure it's free from holes!.

5!. Norplant is inserted into your arm and can last up to 5 years!. I know one person who tried that!.

6!. The IUD is inserted into the uterus and prevents pregnancy!. You have to check for the string hanging out of your cervix each month!.

Others include the patch, the rythm method, abstinence, the sponge, and probably more I haven't thought of!.

The pill worked for me when I took it!. When I was 19 I ran out of pills and stupidly thought I could make it a month!. My son will be 30 in November!. Whatever you use, make sure you use it like you are supposed to!. Also, remember condoms and abstinence are the only ways to lessen your risk of getting an STD!.

Do some searching on the Internet, and you will find a lot of options!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

pills are the most effective and have less side effects as long as you are taking them properly!. condoms are ALWAYS smart on top of your other birth control, double protection!. the ring has a lot of side effects, but you only have to use it once a month, which is nice!. the shot makes you gain a lot of weight and you have random spotting!. of course, the best way, is to not have sex!.!.!. but thats no fun ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Aside from abstinence obviously, the pill is quite effective!. Condoms fail on occasion but also prevent STDs so if you're in a monogamous relationship, the pill is your best option!.

If you're dating several guys then condoms would seem to be the best choice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The pill with a condom!. The pill for birth control, the condom for stds!. And as a reminder, when you are on the pill and you get a prescription for some other meds ( like antibiotics), make sure to check with your doctor to see it will interfere with your birth control pill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

gaining 200lb should do it!. JK!. Depo has worked for a lot of people I know!. You get a shot every 3 months, your period virtually stops!. No weight gain, no pills to pop!. But condoms are still number 1, you don't want any pesky parasites becoming your birth control!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you go to your doctor and ask them to give you this shot that's like the pill but it works better and you don't have to constantly take a pill everyday!. and if you get the shot, you won't have your period, so that's a plus too!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you could use condoms, but those have a 15-25 % chance of breaking!. birth control pill is much more effective and the chances of getting pregnant are much slimmer - since your allowed to be having sex, theres no reason not to get one!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Condoms are probably the safest!. Having a baby shouldn't be your only worry!. There are plenty of disease that you can catch by having unprotected sex!. Condoms and Spermicides are a great combo!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pill AND condom!.
I got pregnant on the pill!.

However you can opt for the IUD thing,!.!.but even it isn't effective!. It falls out DURING or after intercourse!. And your periods go out of whack and the cramps!.!.!.!.so yea!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

HORMONAL BIRTH CONTROL is the way to go! the pill, the patch, the shot, the ring!.!.!.whatever!.!.!.its the best and it helps control your period!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pill is most effective!. Unless you want permanent protection (getting tubes tied)!.

Then again!.!.!. abstinence is the MOST effective!. lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

I say both the pill & condoms the pill only stops you from getting pregnant condoms stop you from getting any thing else!. & at least you no your really safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Double up with a pill/condom combo while dating!. This protects you from pregnancy and most STD's!. Add some spermicide to it and you're almost bullet proof!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

everything at once pills, condoms and no sex!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should go talk to your gynecologist about the best birth control for you and your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
