Question: I Havent Had My Period in Seven Months! Please Help!!?
The last time I had my period was October 30-November 4, and I havent had it since then!! I am not anorexic or bulimic, or anything like that!.!.!.!.im definitely not pregnant, im 300% virgin, so what is wrong with me!?!? My mom said I should think about going to a doctor!.!.!.should I go!?!? I am a little worried about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's normal to miss a period once or twice, but in your case I think the best thing to do is visit a doctor!. They're experts and yours will be able to tell you what's wrong with you!. Go and see a doctor!.!.!. when i was 18, I had just started college and was so stressed out, that I didn't have my period in a couple months, and than I fainted a couple times, and one day I fainted at Future shop and they called 9-1-1 and an ambulance came and took me to the hospital, and I found out that I was 29 weeks pregnant,and I wasnt even showing maybe just slighty and from that day on, I started showing and I felt the baby move, so you never know !Www@Answer-Health@Com
It could be stress, being sick, changes in diet ,or anything random!. After about age 18, women should get yearly gyn exams!. Before 18, it's also a good idea to get a checkup to make sure everything is healthy!. So yeah, listen to your mom about this and go for a checkup!. They will have you wear a hospital gown and check your breasts and privates to be sure everything is healthy and also insert an instrument inside to check everything!. I think you should go to the Dr!. it could be your thyroid!. I have had messed up periods since I was teenager never thought much of it until I wanted to try and have a baby!. My Dr!. had me get some blood work and low and behold I have hyperthyroidism!. It is really no big deal, I get my blood checked every 6 months and I take Armour thyroid!. It made me feel better knowing what was going on!. When your thyroid is not right it can cause all kinds of problems!. if that last one was your first period it's perfectly normal to miss close to a year before you get your next one!. if that's the case i'd say don't worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
