29 days to the day, and 7 days, like clockwork!. Sometimes the heavy part last up to 3 days and the rest is a trickle, other times it's fairly even until the last 2 days!. The only time I missed a period was because I messed up on taking the birth control pill, and it basically set my body up to think I was pregnant!. But (luckily), I wasn't, and I started 29 days later as usual!. It's slightly different for everyone, and it's especially crazy in the first few years or if you have a medical condition!.
Btw, to the person above, answering is voluntary- so don't answer if you're not comfortable being asked!. Personally, I see it as being a woman as much as if you were to ask me if I have toes!. Periods are a (icky, ouchy) natural fact of life, so I have no qualms about sharing that fact with other women (or curious men, for that matter)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Before I went on the pill last year my cycle was 24 days and my periods lasted 7-8 days (the 8th day only being spotting mostly)!.
Currently on the pill, using it continuously (as recommended by my gyn to treat endometriosis), I only have my period every 3rd cycle and it lasts about 5-6 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
