Answers:
Ask them to let you lie down to have the blood drawn!. This is the only way I can have it done - I had them write it in my chart as well!. When you are laying down, take deep breaths and try to relax your whole body!. Stay laying down after they finish as well!. This REALLY should make a big difference!. I cannot give blood sitting up!.!.!. ugh!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat breakfast unless it's a fasting blood draw!. Breathe, look away and take some O!.J!. with you!. Most people faint from viewing the blood being drawn not from the actual event unless you are Diabetic!. Be prepared!. Eat immediately after like in the Doctors office or car!. 1/2 a sandwich or something lite until you can get home!. Protein shakes are portable, easy and sensible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you cannot prevent it!. some people just faint when they see blood!. it has to do with something that your heart beats slower and not enough blood gets to the brain and it happens to 10% of the american population!. just warn them before they take out your blood!.
good luck :DWww@Answer-Health@Com
