There is no such thing as a "false positive"!. There are "false negatives", meaning someone who IS pregnant can test too early and get a negative result (even though she's pregnant) or her body may not have enough hormones to show up yet!. But there is no such thing as a "false positive"!. The only way for a positive result to show up is for the pregnancy hormone (HcG) to be in your body, and it's only there if you're pregnant because it's made by the baby!.

There is such a thing as a "chemical pregnancy", which is when someone will get a positive test and then a few weeks later, they're not pregnant anymore!. It's also known as a "spontaneous abortion"!. It means the embryo didn't fully implant to the uterus!. 70% of pregnancies are "chemical pregnancies" and most women don't even know it happened!.

You'd better start preparing to be a mommy! Get some prenatal vitamins or take two Flintstones every day (easier on the stomach than prenatals)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

True false positives are EXTREMELY rare!. A pregnancy test shows up positive when it picks up HCG which is only present if you are pregnant, have had an HCG trigger shot, or are a male with testicular cancer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Possible but unlikely!. False negatives are much more likely than false positives!. The pregnancy test tests for the presence of a hormone that simply isn't there if you aren't pregnant!.

Sorry about that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

False positives almost never happen!. You HAVE to have a certain level of the pregnancy hormone in your system to get a positive!. Sorry, but you are pregnant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

theres a slim chance of a false positive!. possible but slim!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Extremely low!. False positives are very rare (unlike false negatives which are quite common)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
