Question: Gross period question, but will this lighten it for a few hours!?
I know this is gross, so I am apologizing ahead of time!. Well, I just started my period and it is REALLY heavy!. I am about to go out on the boat with some friends for a few hours, and although I am going to use a super tampon I don't want any unexpected problems, since we will be out for a while!.!.!.!. Well, can I like squeeze hard and clear a lot of it out before hand!? I know it can be done but will it help to keep it a little lighter!? I just don't want to raincheck on this today because of a stupid period!. Any tips are greatly appreciated! Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh, honey you cant really squeeze it out!. One good cramp and it refills like a toilet bowl!. The super tampon is a great idea!. make sure you change it JUST before you leave!. take extra!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It might clear it for a little while but u will only be clearing the old blood!. your muscles relax and contract to cause the period so however much squeezing you do wont affect this at all!. u will still have the same amount of blood flow coming through!. hope this helps xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

I know Drs usually say do not douche!. But if you do a light douche with just plain water before you put the tampon in it may help get some of the blood out a little faster!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I don't know if this is true but i heard if you take a shower and wash really good down there it cleans some of the blood out for a while!. it's worth a try right!?!?!? =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

umm i have heard that a shower will help!. also if you dont want any leaks even with the tampon, wear a pad also!.
