Question: Boyfriends, birth control, pregnancy prevention, the Pill!?
I'd really like some real answers from women preferably! I've been with my boyfriend for a long time now and we both have no STDs or anything dodgy!. We've talked and we really want to stop using condoms and switch to something like the Pill for personal reasons!. I'm slighty nervous though!. I will take the Pill everyday at the same time but I'm unsure of the effects!. I've been reading up about different methods and was interested in a 5 year injection I found but was scared away by side effects!. I'm unsure whether I should get the combined pill or the other one!. I'm not really sure why they're different!. My grandma is really sceptical about these things and reckons the Pill will make a person infertile and I would be distraught if I was infertile!. That's probably just a grandma being a grandma though!. Anyway, I'm looking for some tried and tested replies!. I am 17 but please don't let my age concern you!. It's because of my age that I really cannot get pregnant!. Help!? Sorry this is long!Www@Answer-Health@Com

the only place you can get on the pill is by talking to your doctor, so ask them! they will tell you all about all the effects and answer all your questions!. You have to go there anyway to get it so why not just go and ask them!?

Tell Grandma to relax!. The Pill does not make people infertile, however it might shift your period a little bit!. I'm skeptical of those injections though, mostly because I don't know anyone whose used them and everyone who I know thats used the Pill is just fine =)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Ive been taking Loestrin 24 now for about 3 years!. I havent experenced any side effects except for not having my period!. I talked to my doctor about it and he said that it was perfectly normal!. But the best way to know it to talk to your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
