Question: What is the best approach to helping a girl understand that abortion is not the best solution!?
I have just become a crisis pregnancy counselor, and will be seeing girls daily to tell them about abortion, parenting and adoption!. I am wondering!.!.!.from all points of view!.!.!.those who have had abortions, those who have considered abortions, those who have never considered abortion!.!.!.what would be the best way to verbally help someone in a crisis pregnancy situation!? I really want to help girls understand that abortion is not a good solution to a social problem!.!.!.ALL ADVICE GREATLY APPRECIATED!.!.!.IT COULD SAVE LIVES :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i've had one and it is something i will never get ova but i didn't know what i was getting myself into, in my opinion no words can help someone understand how serious the situaion is !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. i had to make this mistake to fully understand it and i regret it everyday i know i wasnt ready to have a baby but i didn't take it serious until after the procedure and i know now that it wasn't just about me it was a child's life that i thought nothing about!. i think that's what you should get them to understand it isn't just about them any more, that they have a human being inside of them and their desicion should not be taken lightly!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think that it all depends on the situation that the child was concieved in!. If the girl was raped then perhaps she should have an abortion or just give the child up for adoption!. Abortions can mess girls up for the rest of their lives they will constantly be thinking about what could have been or should have been but now they will never know the true joy of being a parent!. I did think about abortion when i was pregnant with my first child, her father left me I was almost 3 months!. He moved 3000 miles away!. I thought I couldn't do it without him!. I realized that I got myself into it and the child in my stomach deserves to live!. I am not god I cant decide who lives and who dies for me the child deserves the world!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i remember when i first got pregnant i freaked out and sorta considered an abortion,but i heard that alot of women have psychological issues from it that can last for years and years and i didnt want that!.!.!.and the thought of giving up my kid was out of the question cuz i did not want a little boy or girl lookin out the window wondering why mom and dad didnt want her!.!.!.!.!.when i went in to one of my dr visits to hear the babies heart beat for the first time, it hit me that a life was inside me,if you could find videos on stuff like that,it would probably help,see if you can find videos on abortion preocedures!.tak about how the vacuum rips the little babies arms and legs one by one!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and it has a heartbeat so it feels something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
if u are really are crises pregnancy counselor then u should know that ur not suppose to pass judgment or pursued them to do or not to do anything!.!.!.
you telling them not to have an abortion isn't helping them, ur just passing your views on them and not letting them make the decision for themselves which u should be helping them do!.!.u need to be neutral let them know information about every option they have including abortion not telling them what u think is wrong or right!.

You should explain to them about adoption and their other options, and remidn them of the risks and what they'll have to go through after abortion!. Yes, it's sometimes the best answer, but you have to consider their situation before you pressure them into a decision!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It is not up to you to pass judgement on what the girl decides to do!. You are only there to make sure she has the FACTS about her options!. Your job is not to talk her out of one option and in to another!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, if you don't know, and need to ask people online to put words in your mouth, than i'm not sure you really get it yourself!. Having a baby can really mess up teenagers lives!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My mother had an abortion when she was 15 and she still feels horrible about it!. She says that it is the biggest mistake she has ever done!. When she talks about it she says that who is she to say if this baby should live or not, since when should she be allowed to play God!. Why kill something that is so innocent!. the baby did nothing!.
I personally have never wanted to have an abortion!. if i thought i was pregnant at this age i would give the baby to someone that cant have children that really want them!. There is always open adoption!. I am close with someone that her and her husband cant have a child and have been waiting for a long time to get someone to give their baby to them!. They are the best people i know!. If all of the girls who have had an abortion would have givin their baby up for adoption then might have a baby by now!.
My sister got pregnant when she was 16 and kept the baby!. She thought about abortion but my mom was not going to let that happen!. Then she thought about adoption but finally she picked to keep the baby!. I dont know what my life would be like without my 2 1/2 year old niece!. Its hard for my sister to raise her, the father has never even seen my niece, but my mother helps a lot!. my sister has a lot of things wrong with her like horrible bipolar but she does it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off how can you say abortion is not a good solution to pregnancy!? It's not your body and it's not your life!. Rather than trying to sway a girls opinion why not educate your self on all the options available and then pass that education onto the pregnant women who come to you for help!.
