Yes it can weaken the latex!. Makes them susceptible to leaks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's true, and both of those "bad things" (I sound like a Monty Python sketch there, don't I!?) could happen!.
Quick question!. If lube is an issue, do they not make lubricated condoms!? If I remember correctly, they are pretty darned slippery!. If you need additional lube, I'd suggest putting a small amount of KY or other personal lubricant into your vagina a few moments ahead of penetration!. Let it melt and lubricate you well, then have your lover "suit up" and go in!. :)

Baby oil, baby powder, vaseline all can make a condom to lose its elasticisty and break!. Some women use this in the hopes of the condom breaking and them ending up pregnant against their partner's will!. Not good!
Even some KY liquids tell you "Not a personal lubricant"
Use the lubricants labeled specifically that- Personal lubricant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Any oil based lubricant will cause a condom to break!. You should use water or silicone based lubricants like Astroglide, K-Y, Liquid silk, or Eros!.
These are specifically made for use with condoms and are safe for the body!.
Is it strange to know so much about lube!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only lube you should be using on condoms is KY Jelly, anything else makes the latex weaken causing them to break!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
