Question: How old were you when you got your period and what were some signs!?
I am a young girl and I wanted to know what some of the warning signs are that u are about to start your period!.!.!.I am asking this because I dont feel like talking about this to my dad!.!.!.!.!.(my mom died when I was born) Please tell me how old you were and what some signs were thnx ;]Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was 8 when I got mine, but that's very young!. Most of the women I know first got theirs around 12 or 13!.
Some signs of a coming period are mood swings, stomach cramps, back pains, and tender breasts!. When I first had mine, I was quite terrified!. I thought I was going to die, because I didn't know what it was!.
You may want to have your father (or a friend's mother if you'd be more comfortable with that) buy you some pads or tampons so you'll be prepared when you do get your period!. If you're very scared about it, you should consider talking to one of your teachers, a friend's mother, or your guidance councilor!. I was in 5th grade so i guess about 11!.
I was at school, it was a field day thing, and i was in dark jeans and i thought i had peed or something, i didn't know what had happened!
I didn't get any cramps or anything!.
I know it might seemed weird and uncomfortable talking to it to your dad but sooner or later your going to start and your going to need tampons and pads!. So i suggest that when that time comes, tell your dad you need 'girl stuff' or something so you can go get some yourself!.

Don't worry i just got my first one last month!. Im 12 almost 13 about three days before i had this really bad stomock pain about three days before it!. The pain lasted until one day i found i had got my peroid!. Don't worry we all have to go through it!. I got it 2 weeks after my 11th birthday!.No symptoms!.Just came home after school and used the bathroom,and there was a small stain on my panties!.Sorry you don't have anyone to talk to,dear!.Isn't there an aunt,cousin,even a neighbor,Dr!. or teacher you could approach!?They would be more helpful and understanding than you might imagine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I didn't get mine until I was 13 and a half, and I just had spotting and felt kinda wiped out!.
