a gynecologist is a doctor that looks at your private place!. they make you take off you pants and undies and they cover you up with a sheet and they use this gel so its easier for them to insert this thing that spreads you private part apart!. then they look normally with this light that they insert it isnt a loong time though and it doesnt hurt at all and its not scary dont worry
