Question: Do i have to go to the doctor to get on birth control!?
I am 16yrs old and i don't my mom knowing i want to get on birth control!. How can i get birth control without my parents finding out!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, you have to go to a doctor for birth control pills!. They are available by prescription only (meaning you have to see a doctor) and they generally like to do a physical exam to see if you are at a higher risk for the side effects!.
The answer to the second question is you can often go to a Planned Parenthood where the exam and pills are discounted greatly and they can't tell your parents!. As a parent, I'd rather have my daughter come to me and go to the doctor and get the bc pills than not!. Really, I would!.

yes you do have to go to the doc but u can get it on ur own!. go to ur doc and tell them u want it and u do not eant ur mom to know!. im sure that they will give it to as u are trying to be resposible!.!.

The birth control pill has to be perscribed by doctor!. You will need a pelvic exam in order to get the pills!.
