Tampon Trouble! Women with experience?!

Question: Tampon Trouble! Women with experience!?
I got my period in sixth grade and have always used pads!. But the thing that makes me upset is that I get my period every 2 to 3 months, so when I get it the flow is unbearably HEAVY! Pads don't cut it for me! They leak way to much and I am going into 10th grade!

So I wanted to try tampons!. I got a playtex gentle glide slender lite and slender regular to fit!. but because I hardly get my period that was practicing without my period! I tried to insert a super because that's what I need to use! but it didn't fit!.

ANY TIPS!!? Don't tell me to angle it differently or to relax because I have done both!.

THANKS!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
1!. Get some smaller tampons!. You're a young girl!.
2!. Don't use them when you're not on your period!. You don't need to practice!. That hurts
3!. Wear pads under them!. Then when they start to leak, you can replace just the tampon!.
4!. Be sure to insert them completely, not halfway!. That will hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

using a tampon when you dont have your pd is not good so dont do it !. 1st it will hurt becase you are dry and second its not ment to be there when you dont have flow!. try using regulars with a panty liner or a pad untill your comfertable enough to go to the super also may i recommend pearl gentle glide or playtex beyond they are by far the most comfertable applicators i have tried
good lcuk hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're having trouble inserting it, put a little bit of Vaseline on the tampon, and when putting it in, put one foot on top of the toilet seat so that it can go in a little easier!. Good luck! Also, I would try the Playtex sport, the applicator is a little bit smaller but has great absorbency!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok this is the most embarassing thing EVER but I will tell you!.!.!.

the first time I ever tried to use a tampon I tried to put it in my pee hole and that is why it didn't fit!. Make sure you are trying to put it in the right hole!. Second, just relax (I know you said don't say that but relaxing helps a lot!) and just try different things that might work for you!. Some women squat to put them in, others prop a leg up to get it at the right angle!. Use a mirror to help while you are learning!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

if you used an easy applicator then idk why its not working!.
even if you're a virgin, those slip in easily!.
i know you said not to say try a different angle, but make sure you're sitting down w/ your legs spread far apart!. try sitting on the toilet to make it easier!.

FYI, when your blood flow is heavy, it should go in!. Don't practice, lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I dont know what to say, if it doesnt fit, then it doesnt fit! You might just have to wear a smaller sized one and just change it more often!. you could also wear a panti liner in case you are in class or something and have to wait a little longer to change it!. This would help with any leaks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this is what you do use your tampon and wear a pad at the same time so you wont have to worry about the leaking and then so you wont have to worry about being self-contouius about it then u wont have to worry about changing your pad to oftenWww@Answer-Health@Com

wers two pads in the back and in the front!. Also, shove a tampon in there that thing will be clogged for years to come!. Also, try to queef to suck the tampon back into your vagina if it starts coming outWww@Answer-Health@Com

I would'nt practice putting them in without your period!.!. I did & it got stuck =o!. When you get your period!.!. it will slide in easierWww@Answer-Health@Com

ky jelly, follow the directions in the box, and don't practice, wait till you're on your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if their card board you could put water on the outside to make it slide in!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. their is a thing called instead that you can try www!.softcup!.com

good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

start with something smaller, you will find that it will still do the trick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

alot of women will put on leg up on the toilet seat and use their fingers to find the vaginal opening and insert the tampon: i do this except I sit on the actual toilet and do it!. Super tampons are really big and can hurt: try using a regular, then a sport, then try the super!. after using pads for 4 years, your body is not used to it!. once the tampon fits, there might be some pain!. it might be that your vagina is not currenlty deep enough or your vaginal opening is too small!. i know this will sound disgusting buy try fingering yourself!. it will help the vaginal opening get used to things entering!.!.!. (NOT PENISES =P) and so inserting a tampton will be eaier!

GOOD LUCK!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The super probably didn't fit because you weren't on your period!. You need the natural lubrication of your period to aid in the insertion!. I wouldn't give up on them yet, just try again during your period!.

Also, wearing a panty liner doesn't hurt either, especially if your flow is extra heavy!. I know this because my periods are extra heavy, too!. Every month, for 3-4 days, my period overflows the Super Plus tampons in 1-2 HOURS! See!? I'll bet that you had no idea just how "lucky" you are!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
