It's possible, but highly unlikely!. She may have had an itch and maybe overdone the scratching a bit!. Or she could actually have what you call "precocious puberty" where a girl starts producing hormones before they need to, or the have too much of the female hormones in their body too early!. You should be able to look and see for yourself and if there is indeed blood, you need to take her to the emergency room because she may have been sexually assaulted or having a MAJOR health issue!. This is not possible!. For one, shes five!. She more than likely heard this somewhere and repeated it!. For two, you should know better than to believe that!. Three, if she is bleeding from that area that could be a serious problem!.

The youngest I have heard is 8!. She may have broken her Hymen and that could have caused a period like!. I would suggest you take her to the Pediatrician to see what is going on, it seems a little to soon for her to start her period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
