Answers:
Well obviously you don't want to get pregnant, so I suggest you should always use 3 forms of Birth Control!.
1) always use a condom and make sure he pulls out BEFORE he ejaculates!.
2) use extra spermicidal jell!. You can find this in the condom aisle!. This helps just in case the condom breaks or there is spillage!.
3) get the pill, patch!. shot, or ring!. If you are over the age of 14, then you can go to planned parenthood or family planning to get this with out your parents knowing!. And they charge you next to nothing!. This typically will run anywhere from $10 a month to $35 every 3 months depending on what the Doc says is best for your body!.

Also you need to get STD tested every 6 months after becoming sexually active!. You can also have that done a planned parenthood or Family planning!. Also your local Health Department (you can find them in the phone book) may do them for free!.

If you are 16 or older then I would suggest you talk to your mom!. She will help you get to the Gyno to get checked out and get you on #3!. She will try talking you out of sex of course, but will be thankful that you are thinking about protection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best birth control is abstinence!. Its free and on your own free will!.

Condoms I guess are effective in a sense!. Condoms, preferably, latex will protect you against STDs and HIV!. You don't need a prescription and u can get it at any store!. Lambskin doesn't prevent HIV!. It is effective on preventing pregnancy, but only by 97%!. In addition, Condoms don't work well when used with certail oils & lotions, but work well with lubricants not containing oil!. They usually cost 9 to 13 dollars for a 12-pack!. Smaller packs, I am not sure about!.

Possible problems are tearing or slipping off!.

There is also the female condom ( for a woman)!. You can also by this at a store without prescription!. It is not to be used while the guy has a male condom or they will both tear and put you and your partner at risk!. It will prevent STDs and pregnancy!. I know they cost $4 at planned parenthood, but not sure about stores!.

Spermicide can help in preventing pregnancy!. The jelly-like substance kills sperm!. you can by without a prescription from a store!. Here is what you are supposed to do with it:

"To use, put the spermicide into the vagina at least 10 minutes before having sex!. One dose of spermicide usually works for one hour, but you must use another dose every time you have intercourse even if less than an hour has passed!. You should not douche or rinse your vagina for at least 6 to 8 hours after having sex!."

There are a lot more and I can't list them all!. refer to the website below!. The price is made by a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I prefer the pill, but each contraceptive is chosen depending on the needs of the person using them!. I would speak to a doctor and tell them my preferences and lifestyle, so they could tell you what's the best method!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The Pill has the lowest margin of error out of all of them however it does have side effects!. So if you don't want to get pregnant take that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
