Having a D&C after a miscarriage isn't the same as an abortion, just to clarify!. An abortion kills a live fetus!. A D&C after a miscarriage is just removing the dead cells!. A woman who has a miscarriage and a D&C afterwards should have no feelings of guilt, the baby was already gone!. Feelings of sadness, but not guilt!.

No!. Not at all!. It feels like any other gynecological exam followed by PMS cramping!. You should not be feeling anything more than some medium cramping!. It's not a big deal physically!. Emotionally, you may be causing your body additional stress!.

I had to have a D&C (nice way to say abortion) because the baby died at seven weeks!. It was an emotional experience I was not preparied for!. It's a deep saddness for a baby you've never known!. That was two years ago and I still well up when thinking about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It would seem to me that the self-righteous, smarty-pants Planned Parenthood would be telling people, but apparently they're not, which is not surprising!.
