Question: Reallyyy heavy period!?!? Girls only
I just finished my 3rd period, and I'm 12!. But on my period, it's been so heavy that I'll use a super tampon and a pad, not a liner, and it still practically leaks through! If i use a couple pantiliners, my pants get soaked with blook through and through, and I'll have giant red blotches on my crotch and butt of the pants/shorts whatever!. Is this normal since I just started a few months ago and they're still irregular!? Or should I get checked out!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

that happened to me too when i first started and i sometimes still have to wear a pad when i am still using a tampon when i first start!.!.!. since it hasn't been that long since you started it is normal it happened to me the first 3 years i was on mine!.!. so don't be embarrassedWww@Answer-Health@Com
Well im 13 and i've had my period for about a year so i dont know if this will help alot!.!.!.sorry!. But okay yes your period is irregular right now but that is a pretty heavy flow!. I have a friend who leaks through the same way as you and she prevents stains by going to the bathroom more frequently to change!. Since it is only your third period its going to feel weird but try not to use a tampon bc that can leak through quickly and i heard that using a tampon can cause TSS which CAN lead to death but thats very rare!. Also there are overnight pads which are REALLY absorbent (there for when you go to bed) there bigger and much thicker so get those and you can just change more!.

Try changing your pad and tampon more often!. Usually whenever you have the chance to go to the bathroom and check it!. If it looks full, or even halfway full, change it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If it continues more than a year I would get help!.
My first 5 periods were really heavy because it's new to your body and it's getting it all out of your system!.
